PT Celebes Railway Indonesia, known as PT CRI is a Business Entity (BE) operating in the field of railway transportation in Indonesia as a Railway Infrastructure Operator, particularly in South Sulawesi. The company is responsible for the maintenance and operation of railway tracks in the South Sulawesi region.
In 2019, still only 37 days old, shortly before the first week of February amidst the usual hustle and bustle of Jakarta, a new milestone was achieved by the nation’s citizens. A company that would make new history in Indonesia’s transportation sector was born.

PT CRI as the infrastructure operator, has broad responsibilities, including Infrastructure Maintenance, which involves routine upkeep and repairs on tracks, bridges, stations, and other facilities to ensure safety and smooth operations, and Operational Management, which involves scheduling trips, managing train traffic, and ensuring compliance with safety and service standards.
